MIRCO DIMITRIO

Mirco Dimitrio is a highly accomplished Italian guitarist, educator, composer, and masterclass clinician with a career spanning over two decades. A versatile master of his craft, Mirco seamlessly bridges classical lute and acoustic traditions with high-energy modern rock-fusion and pop guitar techniques.

A prominent recording artist, Mirco’s guitar work is featured on major releases, including a full-length album with Warner Music as part of the pop-rock project 21Beat, as well as film soundtracks and artistic scoring projects. Since 2015, he has proudly served as an official Italian endorser for Paul Reed Smith (PRS Guitars), representing the iconic brand for over a decade through nationwide clinic tours, trade shows, and high-profile performances.

In 2019, on the occasion of Eko Guitars building his official signature model—the "MD Aqua Custom," created to celebrate the 500th anniversary of Leonardo da Vinci—Mirco composed "Il Coraggio del Genio." Selected as an official piece for the global Leonardo da Vinci celebrations, the track was premiered in the presence of civic and regional authorities. The composition serves as a centerpiece of his multi-instrumental mastery, weaving together classical lute, the Eko MD Aqua Custom driving the rhythm tracks, and his PRS Custom 24 delivering the lead guitar work.

As a celebrated MMI (Modern Music Institute) Special Tutor and International Instructor, Mirco brings over 20 years of dedicated teaching experience. Through his proprietary syllabus, "Ultimate Pop-Rock Guitar," he has mentored hundreds of musicians, with a significant number of his former students successfully transitioning into working industry professionals.

Celebrated for his stylistic authority in rock guitar, Mirco is a regular featured performer at major international events such as the Guitar Show Italy and Roma Musica Expo. Over the course of his career, he has shared the stage with, opened for, and collaborated with world-renowned guitar legends including Paul Gilbert, Frank Gambale, Guthrie Govan, Carl Verheyen, Michael Angelo Batio, Michael Lee Firkins, and Martin Miller.
