BACKGROUND & EARLY YEARS

Born in San Miniato (Pisa) on January 27, 1979, Mirco began studying classical guitar at age 9, adding electric guitar at 12 and acoustic guitar shortly after. He quickly joined both classical and modern ensembles, beginning public live performances from an early age. Over the years, he refined his craft across various lineups and gained extensive live experience throughout Tuscany and across Italy.

• 2019: Eko Guitars custom-built the "MD Aqua Custom" signature guitar for Mirco, celebrating the global 500th Anniversary of Leonardo da Vinci. Mirco serves as global brand ambassador for this signature instrument.

• 2019: Official press presentation of the Eko Aqua MD Custom guitar for the global "Leonardo 2019" celebrations; premiere performance of Mirco's original piece "Il Coraggio del Genio" (blending lute, classical guitar, electric guitar, and modern choir arrangements).

• 2019: Lute performance of Isabella De’ Medici’s "Lieta viva et contenta" with Chinese soprano Xuhui at the Le Vie dei Medici congress.

• 2019: Sold-out concert (~500 attendees) tribute to Queen at Persio Flacco Theatre (Volterra).

• 2019-2020-2021-2022-2023-2024-2025-2026: Organizer of the European Music Day for the Municipality of Cerreto Guidi under Muzika APS (managing over 200 performing students per edition).

• 2023: Lead Coordinator for the Musica a Santa Croce project (funded by Rotary Club) delivering music education to local residents.

• 2023: Italian Clinic Tour for PRS Guitars and Eko Guitars.

• 2023: Awarded national grant as "Lute & Renaissance Music Expert" for the National Plan of Arts project "La Canzone di Isabella" (Vinci School District).

• 2024–2025-2026: Annual featured performer for MMI and Reference Cables at the international Guitar Show (Padua & Bologna), including the main-stage "Fab 11 Jam" alongside leading Italian guitarists like Giuseppe Scarpato.

• 2025: Winner of the Piano Estate educational grant creating rock bands within the "Virgilio" High School Institute (Empoli).

• 2025: Released original single "It’s Not Real" (co-written with Tiziano Barbafiera, performed with Mama Mia Queen Tribute Band).
