PRS GUITARS
In 2015, I became an official Italian artist for PRS guitars, thanks to Eko Music Group (the distributor at the time).
That was the moment my dream guitar from when I was starting out as a kid finally became reality: a beautiful PRS Custom 24 Core Ten Top in my hands. Every day, it reminds me how incredible it is to play an instrument that delivers top performance in every single aspect—craftsmanship, sound, playability, and aesthetics.
Since then, other PRS guitars have rightfully earned a spot in my arsenal: a Core Hollowbody II (my absolute favorite alongside the Custom 24) and a Silver Sky SE, which completely blown me away with its tone and build quality—already at such a high level on a non-flagship instrument.
And what can I say? More will definitely be added to the collection. Paraphrasing Paganini, "these are my Violino Cannone."

In 2018, Eko Guitars built a custom Aqua for me on the occasion of the international celebrations marking the 500th anniversary of Leonardo da Vinci’s death. The guitar was named MD—my initials, but also 1500 in Roman numerals—and features artwork on the body inspired by Leonardo’s drawings and studies.
I played this guitar throughout 2019, including for the recording of my song dedicated to Leonardo da Vinci, “Il Coraggio del Genio” (The Courage of Genius).
Even today, this guitar remains one of the most precious and emotionally meaningful instruments in my collection, carrying with it a unique connection to Leonardo, his genius, and that extraordinary chapter of my musical journey.

REFERENCE CABLES
While mixing the track "It's Not Real" at Studio M in Calenzano with Marzio Benelli—a studio that has hosted renowned Italian artists like Litfiba and Marlene Kuntz over the years—we realized, as often happens at this stage, that an additional guitar part was needed. I grabbed my guitar, and they suggested I try tracking it using a high-quality Italian cable: a Reference. And… wow. The tone was enhanced in all the right frequencies like never before!
Later on, Reference founder Angelo Tordini welcomed me into the Reference artist family, and I now regularly demonstrate their gear during my clinics at major national trade shows. Today, my entire rig is wired with Reference cables, including a custom 10-meter multicore cable that I use on large stages for the 4-cable method. As I always say: when it comes to tone, there are no compromises.

Among my musical arsenal, I must mention my classical and ancient soul: my “Zanchi” Renaissance lute and my Khono Professional R classical guitar, crafted by master luthier M. Khono in 1991. As a true Italian, I love playing classical music, especially the works of the great Romantic composers such as Paganini, Carulli, Giuliani, and Sor
